Hi and welcome to my website dedicated
to carnivorous plants. Here you will find
pictures of my plants along with information
on how to grow them.
I started off in 2005 when I purchased
a few plants from my local garden centre.
Not knowing much about them at the time I took to the Internet looking for
some information, this is where I found the great forum that is cpukforum.co.uk.
After a long few hours reading up on these amazing plants I soon realized I
was addicted and that's when the hobby took off.
Like every newbie I collected anything and everything. My first grow area was
the window cill where my plants grew but room was extremely limited. I
plucked up the courage and bought a mini greenhouse which was quickly filled,
so dug even deeper into my pockets and splashed out on a proper 8 x 6
greenhouse. Now I own two 8 x 6 greenhouses & looking for more space.
My main passion when it comes to carnivorous plants are the amazing
Sarracenia. My grow list now spans over 250 different clones with more being
added each year. I’m always on the look out to add some more but more
recently I have took to Growing my own from seed. Not only is this very
rewarding but you never really Know what you will get.
The Sarracenia is an elegant plant which can be found in a number of different
Shapes and colours and also has a magnificent flower you get in the spring.
This is a little treat after the dark winter months when sarracenia shut down for
a few months
to carnivorous plants. Here you will find
